Author, model and dietician Maye Musk, the mother of prominent entrepreneurs Elon, Kimbal and Tosca Musk, is in for a second year in Greece enjoying holidays in the sun.
After spending a week in Athens where she promoted her new book, she visited the Aegean island of Ios. Ios, or Nios as locals call it, is a charming Cycladic island renowned among the young for its vivid nightlife.
It is located between Santorini, Paros and Naxos islands and offers a plethora of lovely bays and beaches.
In an Instagram post, Maye Musk shared photos of her relaxing in the swimming of a hotel. She posed on an inflatable bed in the water, wearing a black one-piece swimsuit.
“Am I having fun on Ios Island or what?” she wrote, and added: “Tips for a Lifetime of Adventure, Beauty, and Success. It’s nice to be 76,” in a reference to her book published in Greece.
A world-class celebrity in her own right, Maye Musk has been a model for 50 years, appearing on the covers of leading international magazines, and published her latest best-selling book “A Woman Makes a Plan: Advice for a Lifetime of Adventure, Beauty, and Success” with Penguin Random House in 2019.

She presented her book in the upscale Athenian suburb of Vouliagmeni on June 27. During her stay on the Athens Riviera, she visited ancient and modern sites of the Greek capital including Plaka and the Acropolis Museum.

This is the second time that Maye Musk has visited Greece in the last 15 months. Last May she was an honorable guest of the international tourism conference “The Luxury Side of Greece”, held in April 2023 on Santorini.
She will also attend the second conference which will take place again this year in Santorini on October 12-13, with a “surprise” guest of honor to be announced soon. This year’s event will also include the launch of the “Luxury Tourism Awards”.

Maye Musk had an adventurous childhood, as her family flew around the world in a prop plane and spent a decade roaming the Kalahari desert in search of the famed Lost City of the Kalahari.
A model since the age of 15, Musk had four billboards in Times Square in her 60s. Her 1996 book, “Feel Fantastic,” sold out in record time.
Today, she gives presentations as an entrepreneur, fashion icon and nutrition expert to corporations, associations, hospitals and universities around the world, and is an Ambassador for two non-profit organizations.
