Former President Trump was shot and rushed off the stage as what appears as multiple gunshots were heard during a campaign rally in the US on Saturday.

The shooter is dead, and one other person is also believed to have been killed, according to the latest information.

Trump had just appeared on stage for a rally in Pennsylvania as suddenly he fell to the ground. The video feed of the Trump campaign shows Secret Service immediately rushing to shield the former president and rush him off the stage. Trump could be seen raising his fist as he was escorted off the stage while a streak of blood was coming down his face.

While no official statement has been released by the Trump campaign about the incident, the former president is now safe and treated for non-threatening life injuries.

“President Trump thanks law enforcement and first responders for their quick action during this heinous act. He is fine and is being checked out at a local medical facility. More details will follow,” Trump spokesman Steven Cheung told Press.

The perpetrator has been neutralized, sources close to the Trump Campaign told GR.
