Following the announcement of the controversial Venezuelan presidential election results, during which Maduro claimed victory, Elon Musk took to his platform, X (formerly Twitter), where he labeled the politician a dictator.

Musk also described the election results as a “great electoral fraud” and an “embarrassment for dictator Maduro.”

This backlash from Musk came after Venezuelan authorities delayed making detailed election results public until, eventually, Maduro was proclaimed the winner with 51 percent of the vote.

Elon Musk called Nicolas Maduro a donkey

Ian Miles Cheong, a popular right-wing user on X, posted a video of Nicolas Maduro with the caption:

“Illegitimate Venezuelan leader Nicolás Maduro, who very likely won reelection through fraud, is declaring war on Elon Musk, whom he calls his ‘arch-enemy.’ He claims Elon Musk wants to invade Venezuela with his space rockets.“

In response, Musk simply replied, “The donkey knows more than Maduro.” This remark garnered nearly 800,000 likes on X and had 62 million impressions.

However, he didn’t stop there. Elon Musk added, “I’m sorry for comparing the poor donkey with Maduro. It’s an insult to the animal kingdom.”

Maduro: “Elon Musk, you were behind everything”

In the video posted by Cheong, Maduro claimed that “Elon Musk is behind the delay in the results of Venezuela’s election.” Maduro asserted, “Elon Musk wants to control the world with his money and his satellites.”

Maduro made these statements during the proclamation and adjudication of the constitutional president of Venezuela.

In his rant, Maduro also issued a warning for Argentina. He claimed that Elon Musk is after Argentina’s lithium and urged Argentinians to “watch out for Mr. Musk.”

Maduro concluded his tirade by calling Elon Musk “the incarnation of fascism” and labeling him as someone who is “against society and nature.”

Musk joined Javier Milei’s criticism of Maduro

Argentinian President Javier Milei and Elon Musk have become close over ideological similarities. This was evident in an April meeting between the two men when President Milei made an unofficial visit to the United States.

Elon Musk reposted one of Milei’s posts saying:

“The (election) numbers announced a crushing victory for the opposition and the world is waiting for the government to concede defeat after tears of socialism, misery, decadence, and death.”

The situation between Musk and “dictator” Maduro has escalated. On Tuesday afternoon, Elon Musk posted a picture of a DEA-wanted poster of Nicolas Maduro.

He also encouraged Venezuela’s military to “respect the will of the people” by taking action against dictator Maduro and his “fraudulent election.”
