Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk stood at Donald Trump’s side during a Saturday rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.

The site of the rally was where the first assassination attempt on Trump’s life took place. Musk, who took to X in support of the former President just minutes after the attempt on his life, stood by Trump’s side this time and spoke to the people. He told the people in attendance that Trump is the only candidate “to preserve democracy in America.”

Musk’s appearance at the Trump rally

The SpaceX CEO took the stage wearing an “Occupy Mars ” T-shirt underneath a sports coat and a black Make America Great Again (MAGA) baseball cap.

“As you can see, I’m not just MAGA; I’m dark MAGA,” Musk said, referring to his black MAGA hat.

Musk bounced up and down on the stage and threw his arms up, leading the crowd in a chant of “Fight! Fight! Fight!” just like Trump did after he got shot in the ear on July 13th. The crowd cheered Musk upon seeing him appear on stage.

Grabbing the microphone with his hands in the air, Musk said, “President Trump must win to preserve the Constitution. He must win to preserve democracy in America.” He also warned the crowd that “this will be the last election” if they didn’t vote, claiming, “That’s my prediction.”

Musk also warned the rallygoers against voting Democrat in the upcoming election. He encouraged the crowd to vote by telling them to be “pests” at the polls.

Elon Musk told the crowd at the Trump rally, “The other side wants to take away your freedom of speech. They want to take away your right to bear arms. They want to take away your right to vote effectively.”

Musk and Trump’s alliance

On Saturday, Elon Musk’s appearance at the Trump Rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, was long in the making.

Musk and Trump have been singing each other’s praises for a while, and that sentiment only increased after Trump was nearly assassinated on July 13th.

“I fully endorse President Trump and hope for his rapid recovery,” Musk said in the X post he published shortly after the first assassination attempt. He also called Trump tough in subsequent posts, further establishing his support for Trump.

Trump loves the Tesla CEO equally. In September, there was talk of Musk potentially leading a government efficiency task force if Trump were elected to the Oval Office. Trump said the task force will “complete financial and performance audit of the entire federal government.”

When the second assassination attempt on Trump occurred, Musk posted on X in support of Trump. This time, he went after President Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris.

“No one is even trying to assassinate Harris/Biden,” Musk said in a since-deleted post on X. After being admonished by the White House, he backtracked on his post, saying it was a joke.
